Lloy Wylie

Lloy Wylie is an Assistant Professor in the Schulich Interfaculty Program in Public Health, in the Departments of Pathology, Psychiatry, Anthropology and Health Sciences at Western University, in London Ontario. She is also an Adjunct Professor in the Faculty of Health Sciences at Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, BC. Her Interdisciplinary PhD from the University of British Columbia is in Population and Public Health, Political Science, and Nursing. Her PhD explored theories of community engagement and the responses of health care systems to the needs of diverse populations. Her MA (Political Science) and BA (Latin American Studies and History) focused on political economy and the social costs of economic reform in Latin America and Europe. Dr. Wylie’s research agenda is on health equity, focusing on health services, policy and health professional education.
